Special Donation to Bai Zi Tun Elementary School in Fa Ku in June 2007:
On behalf of Mrs. Maruo ICS donated 40 sets of desks and chairs, one book shelf and
sports equipment to Bai Zi Tun elementary school in Fa Ku.
Total amount of donation is RMB 6,400.
Some of the blind people ICS helped:
He L. T, 3 years old girl, lives in Dandong.
Her father is a handicapped person. Her mother is not in good health. She was a born blind. Their parents
took her to the hospital before. The doctor told her to take operations but they didn’t have enough money
that she stayed blind. With ICS’s help she got operations. Now she likes to jump, run, play with other children.
Jiang X. M, 8 years old girl, lives in Bi Jia Tun.
Her father is a farmer, 42 years old. He lost his sight and her mother left him. They live with her grandfather
who is 78. As they can’t work in the field, their neighbors work for them. The girl was a born blind and she
didn’t go to school at that time. With ICS’s help she got operations. She is going to school now.
Peng Z. A, 59 years old man, lives in Xin Cheng Zi.
He was a farmer but got cataract and became blind. His wife has gotten a brain attack and can’t work. His
only son died 6 years before in a car accident. The son’s wife was taking care of her father and mother in law. There was a girl who is 13 years old in this family. The son’s wife couldn’t make enough money for the family
to live. He wished to get his sight again, to work in the field for his family. ICS helped him and he got an eye operation. Now he is working as a farmer again.
Wang B.Z, 65 years old woman, lives in Fusun.
She has no family. She got cataract 4 years before. There was no one taking care of her. She picked up
garbage to survive. ICS helped her and she got an eye operation. She is still picking up garbage but she is
not afraid anymore, because she can do everything by herself again.
Yu D.L,68 years old man, lives in Su Jia Tun.
He lives with his wife. She has been ill for the last 12 years. He used all the money to cure her disease but
she is still ill. He got cataract 5 years ago. It was getting worse and worse, it was difficult for him to plant
corn and vegetables. ICS helped him and he got an operation. He is now working in the field as before.
There are a lot of people waiting for the operation by donation. Of course we can’t help
all of them all, but still we can help some of them.
